In collaboration with Huckestein, JBrennon successfully completed the demolition and replacement of a critical Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) system, including the air handler and condenser, to support server room and computer room HVAC infrastructure. The project included the careful removal of specialized raised floor tiles and ceiling panels to facilitate the integration of new refrigerant piping and control wiring. This upgrade ensures reliable heating and cooling redundancy in the event of a primary HVAC system failure.
JBrennon’s scope included the recovery of existing refrigerant, removal of the existing CRAC unit components, and installation of a new upflow air handler, outdoor condenser, and associated piping. The new equipment was seamlessly connected to existing electrical disconnects, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized performance in the mission-critical server and computer room HVAC environment.
