The company's first project with the Electric Power Board (EPB) of Chattanooga, JBrennon took on a maintenance call at the Sidney St substation. While the work scope was straight forward and simple, the protocol was not--JBrennon's primary concern surrounded the electrical gear housed within the building which had to be carefully protected and worked around for the duration of the project. JBrennon finished all of its work in two mobilizations over the course of two weeks and under the supervision of EPB's electrical engineer on site. Work scope comprised demolition of existing TPO roof, construction of new crickets, and new TPO roof with insulation, coping, and flashing. The exterior structure was painted which required removal of select chain linked security fence around the property. Existing building windows were demolished and replaced with new storefront glass. Finally, new ceiling tiles were added to the existing grid system and walls were painted throughout.
