A 12,000 square foot ground-up construction project on a one-acre site, JBrennon provided labor and materials to site develop and construct the new UA Local 150 Plumbing and Steamfitters Training Center in Augusta, GA. Working with Johnson, Laschober & Associates, P.C. Architects (JLA), JBrennon completed the job in one year. The pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) was provided by Solid Steel out of Pittsburgh, PA and jointly installed by JBrennon and Solid Steel work crews. A mixed project including union and open shop subcontractors, sub-tiers worked alongside one another to provide the end users with a building they could be proud of for many generations to come. Uniquely, the PEMB construction joined structurally four (4) buildings as one with additional bump outs and canopies complementing the architectural finish. Work scope comprised site development, underground utilities, irrigation, landscaping, paving, flat concrete, concrete polishing, PEMB (metal building) construction, roofing, gutters, and downspouts, custom metal and siding work, block, steel fabrication, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, framing and drywall finishing, painting, carpeting, tiling, storefront, doors & hardware, and other miscellaneous trade work. JBrennon is a union friendly General Contractor in several States and can provide both ground-up and renovation turn-key services to clients requiring or desiring the use of union companies.
