JBrennon Construction and Beautiful Smiles Dentistry partnered on a design-build remodel of an existing Regions Bank building in downtown Dalton. One of JBrennon’s first local projects to the City of Dalton, itspent months in the design phase with the Doctor to ensure that his dream was brought to life in an older, unpredictable existing space. The bank consisted of two major vault systems, one of which we had to be extracted by concrete and crane demolition, disassembled piece by piece. JBrennon safely removed and disposed of the 30,000+ lbs of concrete and security wire integral to the vault system as well as the steel and lockable door. We worked hand in hand with the doctor’s design team and equipment provider to ensure that all requests were accommodated throughout the existing space. The scope included large scale interior demolition, removal of the existing drive-thru window system, underground plumbing (sanitary, med-gas, air lines, electrical) to accommodate future dental equipment, new electrical main distribution panel, low voltage, new walls/partitions/soffits, custom millwork, trim, carpet, LVT, ceramic tile installation, electric fireplace, interior / exterior painting, and even the salvaging and reuse of existing glass partitions from original bank to serve as the new meeting room.
